Dear 1-Responsibility,
This post is to update all of you on what is happening in school and how you should prepare for the opening of school. Please tell your classmates to read this message.
First, some terminology:
"This week" shall refer to June Holidays Week 4, dates 22 Jun to 27 Jun.
"AYG Week" shall refer to Term 3 Week 1, dates 29 Jun to 4 Jul.
This Week1) By now, your parents would have received a letter (by ACP, email, internet and SMS) updating them on the situation happening in school.
2) From tonight to Friday early morning, myself or your Co-form teacher will be calling your parents to get some information. This is an MOE wide exercise, you can read about this in the papers.
3) You should be finishing up your homework, and enjoy the last week of the holidays.
AYG Week1) It is not a week of "extended holidays". You are expexted to hand in some work.
2) You are expected to wake up, go online and do your home-based learning. Please log onto the ACP, Heymath, Moodle or look at the EL blog for details. You are required to hand in assignments by a certain time each day. Failure to do so, will be treated as late work. E-learning will begin at 8am and end at 4pm.
3) With regards to English Language items, please IGNORE what is posted on ACP. You will follow the instructions on the EL Blog.
4) Learning journeys have been postponed. 5) You will still report to school at 1.45pm on Wednesday, 1 July. You will be watching the AYG Basketball match till about 4pm. Report to your classroom.
6) IF YOU ARE SICK, DO NOT COME TO SCHOOL! See a doctor and you will still need to produce an MC.
7) Bring your thermometer whenever you come to school. Regardless of whether there are lessons or whether you are coming for CCA. You are liable to be fined ($0.50 to $5) if you fail to bring your thermometer.
